Hello all,
Wednesday’s Stableford competition was played by a smaller number of members this week.
A large group of women were at Rich River competing for the new fancy upgraded GGC Women’s Green Jacket.
At the club 19 women were on the course in the Wednesday Women’s time slots. 12 played Stableford with 7 players playing 9 holes.
RESULTS
Winner of the day and
A Grade 1 was Dot Slattery with a score of 34.
A Grade 2 – Jenny O’Connor score of 32.

Round 1 (Div 4) Results Gisborne was hosting, and we Won the day against Sanctuary Lakes.
Round 2 @ Spring Valley GC vs Spring Valley – Sunday March 24
Team: Jo Mc Phee, Kathy Richards, Liz Blockley, Lynne Smith, Sue Cautley, Adrienne Fievez, Karen Dillion. Emergency: Roberta Henry
Spring Valley will likely be the toughest team in the division so any support would be appreciated by the team.

RICH RIVER – Roundup
Thanks to Denise Dunn who organised the Rich River Annual Event, all women attending had a terrific time. Play was on the East Course Day 1, and the West Course Day 2. Day 1 was individual Stableford, & a Team Event and Day 2 was individual Stableford.
Winners of the Day 1 Team event; Kay Atlas, Jacqui Nelson, Virgina Creece and Gini Dalton.
Winner of Day 1 Individual was Gini Dalton (47 pts) followed by Jenny Day (42).
Winner of Day 2 Individual Jenny Mc Swain (40) followed by Judy Silver (38).
NTP Day 1 Gini Dalton. NTP Day 2 Marg Barker.
Winner of the GREEN JACKET for 2024 was Virginia Dalton.
Lynne Smith was once again our 2024 Bottle Top Trivia host. A hilarious quiz before dinner.

Terrific news from Leanne Delavay who email about Linda Wadden’s success – She is the new Great Alpine Classic Champion.
Linda & Adrian Wadden & Arthur & Leanne were playing in the Great Alpine Classic.
3 games, played at Wangaratta, Bright & Myrtleford.
Linda was runner up at Wangaratta & Bright with scores of 36 & 37.
On Thursday Linda won at Myrtleford with a score of 37, that meant she won the tournament.
