Fire Update 17/4/24

Hi Members
A quick update on the fire for everyone.Unfortunately, the clubhouse and Pro-shop has been totally destroyed.Our immediate focus is to keep the golf course open and i am happy to say that we will be open for competition on Thursday 18th as normal.In addition, we are taking steps to get power operational to the driving range as soon as possible and expect that it will be open tomorrow at some stage.Our next stage early next week will be to get portables on site.Once we have addressed the above we will then start to look at the bigger picture and plan for a new clubhouse and Pro-shop.We are working closely with our insurers and brokers on the way forward and begin what will be a long rebuild.We intend to give regular updates over the coming days and weeks.————————————- GGC Board
