Gisborne Golf Club Sponsors – The Longest Day…

Posted on: 23 October

Gisborne Golf Club sponsors or soon to be sponsors,

In December 2021, some of our members will be completing the ultimate golfing challenge – four rounds of golf in one day. That’s 72 holes!

They’ll be testing their skills and stamina to raise funds for Cancer Council.

Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, with two in three Australians diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70. Gisborne Golf Club would like to help change this.

Covid-19 has made 2021 challenging for all Australians and we can’t begin to imagine what it’s been like for someone living with cancer.

Today, those members would like to ask for your support to make every hole count!

In 2020, 2 million school aged children participated in the SunSmart school programs and $62.9 million was invested into cancer research thanks to donations from The Longest Day.

Your generous donation will contribute to a cancer free future. (*All donations are tax deductable)

Visit https://www.longestday.org.au/how-it-works/how-your-fundraising-helps for more information about where your donations go.

Donate at https://www.longestday.org.au/find-a-friend and search “Gisborne Golf Club’s Longest Day 2021”.

Please get in touch with manager Jacqui Flinn at 5428 2493 or project co-coordinator John Griffiths on 0438 503 692 with any queries.

Thank you for your support.
