Wednesday Forecast

Hello all,
The Wednesday forecast was cold but fine, 10% chance of rain.
It had bucketed down most of the day on Tuesday, so many ladies eagerly strode toward the counter in the Pro shop with the question “are the bunkers all out of play today ??”
Ladies came away saddened – the answer was “no” !
The 7th Hole was still shortened and the 12th alternative in use, but it looked like the drainage works are nearing a close. Well done to the volunteers.
The Stableford Round was played in cloud, then a touch of mizzle, and when the sun appeared jackets and jumpers were peeled off.
36 players competing.

Louise presented a Jenny O’Connor with her March Weekend Medal. Congratulations Jenny.
Wednesday winners
Winner of the day, and A Grade winner was Kerry Petersen who scored 38, A Grade runner up Kathy Richards scored 37.
B Grade was won by Karen Dillon with a score of 34 followed by Betty Glover 33.
C Grade winner was Jenny Malberg 37, followed by Cheryl Blanchard 36.
Nearest the Pin on the 16th: A Grade Marg Ivory , B Grade Karyn Sanders. No C Grade.
Money Hole on the 4th :Gail Hicks.
