Important news in this message.
CHANGE of DATE for the Gisborne v Trentham Challenge.
The Challenge will take place at Gisborne on May 10. (previously advertised as 24/5).
Many thanks to Nancy Inglis for working with Trentham to find a changed date that suited them, and us.

What do you need to do?
Please check your availability for May 10.
If you have already signed up in the locker room; to play, or to provide a slice/dessert we will assume that you are available for May 10.
If you are not available, can you please cross your name off the list/s or contact us.
Similarly, if you are now available, please add your name.

Cost for all golfers; $20 per person. A simple sandwich lunch, payable at the bar on the day.


Big, BIG, BIG news
Lynne Smith had a great day on Wednesday.
Lynne hit the dream shot on the 4th Hole.
Using her 7 Iron, Lynne hit the green and the ball rolled in, for a magic HOLE IN ONE .
Yippee Lynne, we are all thrilled for you.

Manager Brett gladly informed everyone that drinks were on the house.
He handed out drinks’ tickets for all present and disappeared with the golf ball only to reappear with the ball in a special trophy mount.

Now to the Wednesday play.

It was the last day for Gini Dalton as she leaves us to head north. Best wishes Gini.

The weather was perfect, sunny light winds with a forecast of 18-20 degrees.
The competition was 4BBB Stableford for the Royal Women’s Hospital.
36 players played in pairs, followed by the 9-hole social players.

Congratulations to the Winners Marg Ivory and Maryanne Mocnik who scored a great 48.
Marg and Maryanne now become our representatives in the virtual competition.
Fingers crossed; the announcement will be made in the late spring.

Runners up; Jenny Malberg and Linda Miller score 45 C/B.
3rd Place; Barb Podger and Anisa Hogan score 45.

Marg Ivory, on the 2nd, Gini Dalton and Karyn Sanders on the 6th , Jenny O’Connor on the 6th and the 12th , Maryanne Mocnik on the 7th, Lynne Smith, and Helen Flentje on the 17th.
