Our Men’s Senior Pennant Team Win Two in a Row!
Sunday March 17 saw our course host Div 3 Pennant. Appreciating the home course advantage after a couple of tough weeks away, our team defeated The Heritage 5-2. Paul Delia celebrated his return to the team with a gritty 2&1 win. Other winners were Garth George, Brendan Larkins, Matthew Priest and Craig White.
Buoyed by our first taste of success, we headed out to Waverley GC last Sunday. Having to play Churchill-Waverley on their home track, as well as Phil Clough and Jason Lock being unavailable, we knew we were in for a tough day. Tim Scoble returned to the team for his first game of the season. His convincing 5&3 win was a highlight of the team’s 4-3 success. Other winners were Garth George, Paul Delia & Matthew Priest.
