BERT & DORIS STOREY TROPHY

It was nearly a fairy tale birthday for Jarrod Byham and his partner Frank Mills who were the Clubhouse leaders at midday with a nett score of 70, alas Congratulations must go to the pairing of Kevin Incigneri and Dave Henderson who today won this coveted trophy with a nett score of 69.5 from Jarrod and Frank. Best scratch score of the day went to visitors Connor McLean and Mark Jackson with 72 from Craig White and Brendan Larkins on 73.

Pictured here is Kevin and a Dave look a like celebrating the win:

PRACTICE ON THE COURSE

A reminder that if having a social/practice hit on the course that no more than two balls can be played. There are areas on course where it is clear that multiple balls are being hit and causing damage. As always, please fill your divots.

WHAT IS THE GENERAL AREA?

The general area covers the entire course except for the four specific areas of the course described in Rule 2.2b.

It is called the “general” area because:

It covers most of the course and is where a player’s ball will most often be played until the ball reaches the putting green.

It includes every type of ground and growing or attached objects found in that area, such as fairway, rough and trees.

At present we have Preferred Lies in the General Area. Preferred Lies are NOT available on the Teeing Area, Bunkers, Penalty Areas or the Putting Green.

BUNKER WORK

Dylan and team will be spending time in the bunkers over the coming months so you will find that some are marked GUR whilst they’re being worked on.

Relief is available under Rule 16.1 Abnormal Course Conditions (Nearest point of complete relief no nearer the hole).
