On Wednesday 10th July, nine ladies represented Gisborne on a cold windy day. Gisborne won the challenge, the 13th time since the start of the challenge back in 1994. Trentham had won the previous two years so it was pleasing to get the trophy back again. Jackie Nelson won B grade for Gisborne and Suzanne Velk won A grade with a terrific 36 pts. Helen Flentje was acting Captain for the day.
