A.J. HARLOCK MID-WEEK CHAMPIONSHIP
It’s not often of late that we’ve seen a first round leader go wire to wire, but Young Gun James McKibbin did just that on Thursday in the final round of the AJ Harlock Mid-Week Championship. James kept his cool in the final round to extend his 1 point lead into a runaway 5 points victory with a total score of 113 points after rounds of 42, 37 and 34.
Runner up was Rob Allen with rounds of 40, 33 and 35.
James couldn’t stay around for the presentation, but I have it on good authority that he’s wasted no time in letting a few of his mates know about his victory. Having just taken up golf themselves I hope this provides them with the impetus to challenge him in the future!
