Women’s Golf News 27-01-24

Posted on: 27 January

Hello everyone,

A humid, hot day on the course on Wednesday this week when we hit off.

There had been huge thunderclaps before we teed off and the skies threatened.

There was talk of “we’ll see how we go, we may be sirened off” , if the lightning comes.

Happily, no lightning, and those black clouds slipped away to the south.

We battled on as the temperature rose and by the time we finished the 18 holes it was hot, hot, hot !

There were 22 entrants in the Stableford Competition.

RESULTS

Winner of the day and A Grade Winner was Angela Cordell with a score of 40.

A Grade runner-up was Kathy Richards score of 36.

Winner for B-Grade was Linda Lanham score of 39.

A-Grade runner-up was Karen Dillon score of 35.
