Summer 1000 Results

The Summer 1000 for 2023 was a hotly contested event held on Saturday the 25th of November. Sponsored by John Burns, 39 teams competed for the first prize of $1,000 in Proshop vouchers.
With the tee blocks right back, and the pins cut in some great spots, scoring was not easy, the winning team of Ben Ferrari (40 points), Guy Cilauro (40 points), Peter Watson (32 points) and Craig Rowsell (18 points) came in with a total of 112 for their best 3 combined scores. The 4 winners each receive a $250 voucher for the Proshop, it will be interesting to see if Biff donates his back after a sparkling 18 points.
In 2nd spot on a countback was the team of Terry Snyders, David Davis, John Tymensen and Michael Kornitschuk, who each get $75 added to their bar account, along with the team of Shane Aitken, Robert Lockey, Norm Dinsdale and Norm Power, who will also have $75 each added to their account. Both teams came in with a total of 106 points.
The following Nearest the Pin Winners each get $40 added to their Proshop account.
