Gisborne Golf Club Sponsorship/Advertising Update

Please welcome Carol Leaney to the Gisborne Golf Club team. Carol’s prime role is to help attract and manage sponsors/advertisers to the club.

As most members would be aware, sporting clubs can no longer exist just on the income generated by club membership fees. We must look at other avenues to generate income to keep us going and this initiative will assist in that endeavour. The funds generated will ultimately help keep your membership fee increase to a minimum, assist with the daily operation costs of the club and of course ensure we sustain our beautiful golf course.

Carol will take the lead in looking for numerous commercial opportunities for businesses to promote their organisation at the golf club.  Various packages have been developed with the aim to attract and encourage businesses to come on board with the Gisborne Golf Club.

As we secure these new businesses we ask all members and their families to utilise not only these new services but also to support our existing advertisers and sponsors. Direct feedback from members to these businesses is invaluable for our sponsors to gauge the value they receive by supporting the Golf Club.

You may in the coming months receive a call from Carol offering you, your business or your employer the opportunity to become involved in supporting the club.  If you think your business would like to advertise here at the golf club, please call Carol anytime on her mobile on 0407 331 399.

We are dedicated to building a strong working relationship with all those advertisers and sponsors who are willing to become involved here at the club.

Most of you will have meet Carol Leaney over the years but for those who have not here is a little background on Carol and her involvement with the golf club.
