Hello Members,

We are excited to announce a new Membership Category at the GGC specifically geared to our younger members. From July 1 2022 we will add a 25-29 year old, full 7 Day membership option for a cost of $900 per year.

In the past when a young member turns 25 they have quite a hefty rise in their membership fee – around $1100! Many members in this age group over the years have just found this cost too steep and have sought a membership at another club where it is more affordable. Many clubs we compete with for memberships in this competitive market offer these types of categories for younger golfers. It is therefore prudent and right that we also offer this to not only support our younger members, but retain their business and help them further develop their golf at our club.

So from July 1, any 7 Day member who is in this age bracket will be eligible for this new category fee when your next membership fee is due. If you are currently a lifestyle member you can transfer straight over to the new category affording you 7 Day member rights, and if you are on another membership category we suggest you upgrade or transfer over.

In the coming months we will also be working hard to get back some of those young members who have left us whilst attracting new young golfers who would love to be a part of Gisborne Golf and all the club will have to offer in the future!
