A reminder to members that the Gisborne Junior Open will be held on Monday the 4th of September.

The event is open to juniors aged 10 to 18 , boys with handicaps to 28, and girls with handicaps to 36.

There are currently 59 juniors entered, so come down on the day and have a look at some future stars.

A group of members led by Frank Mills, kindly donated $500 between them for prizes. Frank was joined by John Orwin, Dom Hogan, Brian Hunter, Geoff Ellis, David Davis and Barry Aarons, a big thanks to these members for sponsoring this years event. Hopefully we have another group of members next year who would be keen to do the same thing.

Tee off is at 9am, you won’t believe how gifted some of these kids are, come and check it out.
