A recent flying visit to Bowen in FNQ by Mr X resulted in a request to join the elite golf combatants in our cross caravan park championships After consultation with members Smithies, Heazelwood, Power  and Albany they agreed he could contribute to a much needed win in our 9 hole event.

Mr X contributed a solid 6 points (later claimed 8 points but not a lot of difference) to our team tally which killed the teams average resulting in a close loss Thanks Mr X for your enthusiasm but maybe another couple of practice rounds of the tough Bowen layout is needed next year before putting your hand up for selection again.

One suggested he should play tennis instead, so he did and strained a calf during the first set.
