Last week was a busy week for golf events, with the Summer 1000 being held, as well as matches continuing in the Brady Mixed Knockout board event. A huge thanks to member John Burns for sponsoring the Summer 1000 event.

Ben Ferrari – 40 points, Guy Cilauro – 40 points, Peter Watson – 32 points, Craig Rowsell 18 points

L&W Brady Mixed Knockout

The semi finals are here with some close games fought out in the quarters.

The first game saw Matt Dean and Karen Brites come away with a resounding 5&4 victory over Matt Laing and Ruby Watts.

They will take on Andrew and Moon Gordon in the semi’s, who got the better of Peter and Jenny Buttigieg in a close fought 2&1 battle.

Semi final 2 will be between Jason and Dao Lock, who went to the 20th hole to defeat Graham Paterson and Mel Daly.

The Lock’s will be up against Chris Fellows and Fran Crimmins, who also had a 5&4 victory over Alan and Judy Silver.
