Women’s Golf News 7-10-23

Posted on: 7 October

Hello all,

I’m sad to report that the weather on Wednesday was not good. In fact, it was showery and cold.

The rain had teemed down on Tuesday night.

Three tough brave souls, Helen Flentje, Maryanne Mocnik and Cheryl Blanchard hit off on the first, ready to play 18 holes.  The weather did not abate, and they completed a soggy 9 holes.  So, no competition, and no results.

Members Out and About

See below a gorgeous whole family pic starring Barb and Anton Grbac.

The family all gathered on the other side of the world to escort Anton’s mother to the village in Croatia from where she migrated.

What a fantastic effort.

Barb reports…….“there were still a few families and friends there for her to visit,….. it was an amazing experience to be there with her and all her stories of the past.”…..

……”we are heading to Toronto from Munich on Thursday. I hope everyone is well and enjoying their golf,

take care,

Barb” .

Cheers,

Jenny M
