Brett’s Bio for the GGC

Living in Gisborne for the past 7 years and being a member of the club for the previous 2 years, I was recently given the opportunity to join the team in the pro shop.

I am a golf tragic, love playing the game, unfortunately it rarely loves me back.

I am an avid golf watcher, spending countless hours following all the tours. My favourite golfers to watch currently are Jordan Spieth and Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland and Colin Morikawa, as well as Jin Young Ko and Nelly Korda on the women’s tour.

I will be assisting Matt in operating the business and golf side of the pro shop, which will allow Matt and Callum to conduct more lessons and fittings, enhancing the experience for our members.

The club has a great opportunity for growth with the current population explosion in the Macedon ranges.

With a fully stocked pro shop, the course being in magnificent condition, plans in place for course drainage improvements and the proposed driving range, as well as the bistro serving up great food, it is an exciting time to work with Jacqui, Matt, Luke and the whole team to make Gisborne Golf Club the premier club in the Macedon Ranges.
