Harold Shepherd, one of our gentlemen golf club members, passed away peacefully in hospital on Sunday the 8th of October at the age of 97 following a short illness.

Harold will be remembered as an active member over many years. He achieved a “hole in one” on the 4th hole in 2014, and his name is in gold on the board.

I personally had the chance to sit with Harold several times when he came for Lunch once a week with Joycelyn Moreland, Robert and Wendy Ralph and others. I will miss having  chat with him and I know the other staff who spoke with him feel the same.
