This year the club will be holding the “Tee of for Breast Cancer Trials” Fundraiser on Wednesday the 25th of October.

We would love to make this one of the biggest days of the year for the club.

The women will be playing for the Maureen Kennedy Plate, and for the first time, the men will be playing for the John Kennedy Plate.

Many of you would have known Maureen and John, and what they did for the club, so it is fitting to honour them with an event such as this.

The event is being sponsored by the Bendigo Community Bank Gisborne and District, giving the club the opportunity to offer some great prizes.

The competition will be a 4BBB Stableford event, entry forms are available to download here.

Entries will be restricted to Gisborne members for the first 2 weeks, then open to everybody.

There will be raffles, on course challenges, including the Dinghy Dunk and Captains Bunker, along with prizes for the Best Pink Dressed competitors, so make sure to bring cash on the day and wear something PINK!!!!!

The club would like to make a sizeable donation following the event, with proceeds from the raffles and a portion of the entry fee being donated.

The women’s committee members have been working hard to make this a great day, they deserve to see a full field of Women and Men for this event. Please show your support for a great cause, there would not be too many members of our club who have not been effected by cancer in some way, and we can all do our bit to try and combat this disease.
