Members Eclectic Competition Starting this week.

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS
During January, February and March 2024 we will be conducting The Men’s and Women’s Summer Eclectic Competitions.
The Men’s Competition will commence this Saturday the 6th of January and the Women’s will commence from Wednesday the 3rd of January.
Players will have their scores in each individual event recorded and their best score on each hole over the 12 weeks of the competition will become the eclectic score.
Men’s scores will be used from the Saturday Rounds and the Women’s scores will be used from their Wednesday rounds.
You do not have to do any extra scoring on the day as MiClub will adapt to update the progressive scoring.
This is a Nett Competition, your best score on each hole over the 12 weeks will become your total gross score, then handicaps will be deducted to determine the Nett winners.
All members are entered in the competition regardless of when you play your first round.
There will be 3 grades, A (0-12), B (13-18) and C (18+). Your handicap for the competition is calculated at 75% of your handicap on the day you play. Whichever grade you start in will be the grade that you stay in for the entire competition.
There is no entry fee, and prizemoney will be awarded for 1st,2nd and 3rd in all grades. 1st will get $60, second will get $40 and third will get $20 added to their House accounts.
Members will be able to check their progressive scores in the weekly golf news update on the portal.
How Low Can You Go? The objective over the 12 weeks is to try and birdie every hole on the course so you finish with a gross score of 18 under. Keep checking your progressive scoring to see which holes you need to Birdie in your next round, as if we needed any added pressure!
