New Year’s Day – Recovery Cup Winner – Mike Lovitt

Embarrassed or Chuffed – I couldn’t quite get a read from Mike’s expression when I congratulated him on winning the Recovery Cup with 18 points. (Secretly I think he had already checked the results in anticipation). Saturday Jan 8 – 1^st Round President’s Trophy and Monthly Cup

Well done to all who braved the Macedon mist today. Whilst a number of players are in the hunt for the coveted President’s Trophy, it’s Johnny “Windows” Orwin who takes a 4 shot lead (71 nett) into the next and final round. Drew King and Mauro “Da Vinci” Callegari are snapping on his heels on 75 nett.

Johnny walks away with the Monthly Cup for his efforts today, and Drew had the best stroke round of the day with his 75 (off scratch)
