Golf Australia Junior Girls Scholarships

Hi Members
As part of Golf Australia’s Junior Girls Golf program, Gisborne Golf Club have been able to offer 5 scholarships to girls from the club who have been participating in our junior program. Congratulations to all or scholarship recipients below. We hope to continue this program with new inductees well into the future.

As part of the program the girls all receive a Junior Membership to the club, along with a premium range membership for practice. The following program has also been mapped out.
Clinics
24 Scheduled clinics – (6 per school term) – to be provided by Callum Wilkinson,
Resident PGA Professional and coach for the duration of the scholarship
program.

Practice
Use of all practice facilities at any time.
On-course practice accompanied by a club member.
Receive a Golf Australia handicap
A playing partner for the purpose of obtaining a GA handicap will be arranged if
required.

Throughout the year, apart from the 24 coaching clinics with Callum, additional
activities will be scheduled at the end of each coaching term, e.g. mini
competitions on course; short game competitions off course; end of term/end of
year celebrations.
