This year Gisborne Golf Club will be hosting the 2023 Gisborne Junior Open on the 4th of September.

The event will be permanently added to the syllabus to become the clubs annual flagship junior tournament.

This event incorporates the SSV 12 and Under State Team Trial for Boys and Girls

The event is an 18 hole Stroke event, with prizes for both Gross and Nett scores.
The handicap limit for Boys is 27 and Girls is 36
The event will have a Multi Tee start at 9:00am

The Gisborne Junior Open is a Junior Event for golfers between 10 and 18 years old.

Players must have a current GA handicap. Gross and nett trophies will be awarded in each age category.
Players may only win one major trophy.

This event is also the School Sport Victoria 12 and Under Team Vic Selection Trial. Eight boys and
four girls along with emergencies will be named to represent Victoria in the SSA Golf Championship
in November 2023.

This in an Order of Merit event.
