Functions, Prices & Service – Gisborne Golf Events 2022

GGE is dedicated to providing a high quality service to golfing members, social players and the wider community, this is an ongoing commitment where we will improve week in and week out.

 We have dedicated over $40,000 putting systems and processes in place to ensure a better member service, these items include a bistro cart on the course, bainmarie to hold sandwhiches, dim sims, pies and chips for a quick grab, a swell as freshly made sandwiches in the cold cabinet.

 We have also put a system in place so that you can order online from certain holes via a QR code so you can beat the queue at the club house.

 You would have noticed that also drinks prices have gone up as well as food, this is common across all industries as CPI increases happen twice a year. Outside of our control and due to covid, alcohol for example has an increased CPI of 4.4% in August last year and there is a debate currently if the February CPI increase will happen or not. Despite this being the industry CPI we have been notified from other suppliers, for example Asahi Beverages which own a lot of companies are having a product wide increase of 9%.

 This is going to happen more and more as the year progresses and we will try and wear some costs where possible but unfortunately some costs need to be passed along to customers so that the business can run successfully. Members still will receive a 10% discount on all purchases in the bar and bistro.

 When placing an order so that we can have a record and give members a 10% discount please state your phone number to the friendly staff.

 Further more all members functions at the golf club are very welcome and we offer members free venue hire as they are members of the club house. This is an instant discount of $500.
