Course Management

Posted on: 3 July

Hi All

Now we are getting into the wetter months, the team have been working to ensure that the conditions of the course are preserved as the ground becomes a bit softer. I am sure you have all enjoyed the way the course has been presented for play, there are a few things Members and Guests can do to help maintain conditions. Please note some of the changes,

  1. White lines have been painted on the fairways just short of the greens. Please do not drive motorised carts past these lines. If you see any visitors not following the rule, please advise them in a nice manner.
  2. Please do not hit off the grass on the Driving Range. We are trying to maintain the current turf as we will be required to use it when the construction of the structure commences.
  3. Please carry sand buckets and fill divots, also ensure that any guests comply with this rule.
  4. Utilise the new path between the 5th green and 6th Tees. Take your bag to the 6th, grab your putter and access the 5th green via the path.
  5. Rake Bunkers- This goes without saying, but it seems I have to put it on the portal on a monthly basis.
  6. Common Sense – We all know that some spots on holes can get wet and soggy. Please be aware of where you are walking or driving, this includes all carts and buggies. Look for the patches that are softer and try to avoid them, this will help maintain the grass cover and keep the course enjoyable to play for all as well as help the course to recover quicker when Spring come around.

Best Regards

Brett Campbell
