Bert and Doris Storey Trophy
On a wet and windy Saturday, Members set out to secure the Bert and Doris Storey Trophy. The event this year was played as an American Foursomes, and from all reports, this format was enjoyed by all.
In previous years, this event was played as a Stableford competition with the male and female winners on the day going to one of the Sand belt courses and playing against the winners from other Melbourne based clubs in a Four Ball Better Ball. Unfortunately, this event no longer occurs.
The winners this year of the Bert and Doris Storey Trophy were Robert Locksley and Antonio Ly with a score of 70.375.
Tim Scoble and Jack Rowsell finished second, with a score of 71, with Leif Louwen-Skovdam and Matthew Priest Rounding out the top 3.
