Hello Members,

Firstly, the entire team at the club extend our thoughts and best wishes to you all during this (let’s be honest), quite trying and anxious time.  We hope that you are looking after yourselves & your loved ones like never before.

I write to you, to inform you about our ‘Gisborne Golf Club Comradery’ movement that is bubbling away in the background presently.  What is this I hear you say?  Well, put simply it is us reaching out to our fierce, loyal, gritty members (YOU), to ask for your support at this time.  We have already been inundated with unbelievable support from our golfing community thus far and wish to build some momentum.

How can you help?  The most positive thing you could do to help us ensure that the gates remain open after we move on from this period is to renew your membership with us.  Know that despite your usage almost definitely being lower and us staring down the barrel of a likely shutdown for a short period this would help us continue our tireless work behind the scenes.   In the event that we should close, we will of course extend your membership for that time.  You will also become an honorary ‘GGC Comradery’ member (details to follow).

There is no doubt that we are a united and extremely close community and we want to band together now to make a difference.

Do it because;

• It’s your place
• I’ts your mates
• It’s your thing
• Do it, if you can
