AUGUST MONTHLY CUP AND MEDAL
Congratulations to long time member Jason Lock who has won the August Men’s Cup with a score of 70 nett. Jason plays off 2 so the math says he has shot even par also giving him the best gross score of the day. This is Jason’s first Cup since he was 15.
Linda Lanham won the Women’s Medal with the best score of the day 69 nett.
Well done Locky and Linda!
UPCOMING EVENTS
100 Year Celebration Fourball – Sept 10
Incorporating our Past President and Captain’s day this is an event for our Members to pair up endeavour to take away not only bragging rights but a commemorative crystal trophy to display for eternity. Invitations will be forwarded in the coming days with entry to the golf as per the usual timesheet
PLAY 9
An initiative of Golf Australia, simply play and submit a 9 hole competition or social round through until September 30 and you’ll be in the draw for a chance to play in the 2022 Play 9 national final in Melbourne in December.

AFL GRAND FINAL – SEPTEMBER 24
An 8:00am shotgun start for a round of Stableford and for those who wish to stay for lunch and drinks the Grand Final will be live on the big screen. For those looking for a game (of golf) in the afternoon the timesheet will open from 12:45pm for competition and social golf.
L&W BRADY MIXED KNOCKOUT
The qualifying round is on Sunday October 2. Always hotly contested be sure to line up your partner and ensure you’re available for the subsequent matchplay rounds on Oct 9, 16 and the final on the 23rd.
WJ McGREGOR FOURSOMES and TOM STOTTEN CUP
Again, be sure to line up your partner for these prestigious events being run on Sat October 29. A reminder that for the 36 hole event the pairings must be of the same sex whereas the Tom Stotten Cup is an open event (any pairing)
MELBOURNE CUP DAY – NOVEMBER 1
After having to drop the shotgun start last year because of C*@#D we are back to our popular 9:30am shotgun start for an open fourball Stableford event followed by lunch, sweeps and races on the big screen.
For those wanting to play in the afternoon the timesheet will be open from 2:00pm for competition and social golf
2022 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
