The 2010 Victorian Corporate Golf Championship will be held Friday 12th November and is certainly an event companies should not miss out on. The event is designed to provide competitors with the opportunity to network with current or potential clients whilst enjoying a round of golf on a fantastic course. Companies or Registered Businesses are invited to compete in the 3 person Ambrose competition. Competitors must hold official GA (36 max) or WGA (45 max) handicaps to be eligible to win the title and the trophy. Teams without handicaps will be eligible to win other fantastic team and individual prizes. Major sponsor Country Club Tasmania will provide the first prize 2 night’s luxury accommodation at Country Club Tasmania including golf, full breakfast and dinner vouchers for 3 people (flights included). The winning team will also hold the magnificent crystal trophy for 12 months. A strictly limited field is available so please ensure your entries are submitted early.

2009 Victorian Corporate Golf Championship
The 2009 Victorian Corporate Golf Championship was held on Friday 27th November and was a great success. A field of 30 corporate teams converged on Gisborne Golf Club for the Championship.
Designed to provide competitors with the opportunity to network with current or potential clients, the event has since grown into a prestigious corporate golf day for local and interstate companies. Companies who competed on the day came from a wide range of industry sectors and included National Australia Bank, Toll Tasmania, Schweppes, State Trustees, Thyssenkrupp Elevators and Melbourne Body Corporate to name a few.
Former Touring Pro and now renowned golf commentator Mark Allen made a guest appearance on the day. Mark played shots for each group, passed on handy tips and signed autographs. This was one highlight for competitors. TV and radio personality Brian Taylor was the guest speaker on the day and certainly provided some great entertainment whilst guests enjoyed their 3 course chef prepared luncheon.
The 2009 Victorian Corporate Golf Championship was won by Toll Tasmania. The winning team took home the title of “2009 Victorian Corporate Golf Champions”, the magnificent championship trophy and a luxury 2 night golfing and accommodation package at Country Club Tasmania for three people, including return airfares to Launceston, courtesy of Harvey World Travel – Niddrie.

2008 Victorian Corporate Golf Championship

A capacity field of 36 teams converged on Gisborne Golf Club for the 2008 Victorian Corporate Golf Championship. Companies including NAB, Russell Consulting, Toll Holdings, Matters More – Land Use Economics, Hi-Rise Access, Chapman Welsh and Electon competed in the Championship for the first time.
The 2008 Victorian Corporate Golf Championship was won by Matters More – Land Use Economics with a nett score of 57 1/2. The winning team took home the title of “2008 Victorian Corporate Golf Champions”, the magnificent championship trophy and a luxury 2 night golfing and accommodation package at Country Club Tasmania for three people, including return airfares to Launceston, courtesy of Harvey World Travel – Essendon. Finishing in second position was the team from Dished and Flanged Ends with a nett score of 57 2/3. Companies including Matters More stated their extreme satisfaction of how the day was organised, the presentation of the course and the huge amount of prizes on offer.
US PGA Tour professional Jarrod Lyle returned to make a guest appearance on the day. Jarrod played shots for each group, posed for group photos and signed autographs. This was once again a highlight for all competitors. Former Australian cricketer, Colin Miller, competed on the day and was the guest speaker.

2007 Victorian Corporate Golf Championship

Golfing conditions were superb, the course was immaculately presented, fantastic quality trophies were on offer and 28 competing companies from Victoria and Interstate all provided the ideal combination befitting this prestigious event.
The 2007 Victorian Corporate Golf Championship was won by Cadbury Schweppes with a nett score of 58 4/6. The winning team took home the title of “2007 Victorian Corporate Golf Champions”, the magnificent championship trophy and a luxury 2 night accommodation package for three people, including return airfares to Launceston. Cadbury Schweppes stated their extreme satisfaction of how the day was run and the excellent presentation of the course. Finishing in second position was the team from Teeth Solutions with a score of 62 1/6.
US PGA Tour professional Jarrod Lyle made a guest appearance on the day. Jarrod played shots for each group, posed for group photos, signed autographs and was more than happy to give advice and answer any questions when asked. 2006 Victorian Corporate Golf Championship

The 2006 Victorian Corporate Golf Championship was won by Tobin Brothers Funerals with a nett score of 59½. The winning team took home the title of “2006 Victorian Corporate Golf Champions”, the magnificent championship trophy and a luxury 2 night accommodation package for three people, including return airfares to Launceston. Finishing in second position by only 2/6 of a shot behind was the team from McKibbins Transport Australia.

2005 Victorian Corporate Golf Championship

The staging of Victoria’s first official Corporate Golf Championship was held on Friday, 11th November at Gisborne Golf Club. Ideal golfing conditions, an immaculately presented course, fantastic quality trophies and 32 companies from around Victoria and Interstate, provided the ideal combination befitting this Inaugural prestigious event.
The day was won by On Course National Golf Shops with a nett score of 59 2/3. The team took home the title of “2005 Victorian Corporate Golf Champions”, the magnificent championship trophy and a luxury 2 night accommodation package for three people including return airfares to Launceston. Finishing in second place was Hi-Rise Access. In his acceptance speech, Dennis Harvey, praised the course, the professional organisation of the event, its concept and format, and stated that his team will be back to defend its title next year.
