Social clubs are invited to enter 2 teams of 4 players who will compete in an 18 hole Aggregate Stableford round. The 3 best individual stableford scores will be combined to form the overall team score. The team with the highest amount of points will win the Championship and take home the major prize.
Naming rights sponsor Country Club Tasmania will provide the major prize for the winning team; a weekend at Country Club Tasmania, Launceston, including deluxe accommodation, a round of golf & buffet breakfast (return flights included). The winning team will also be awarded the perpetual trophy and hold the title of “Country Club Tasmania Social Club Champions” for 12 months.

2007 Country Club Tasmania Social Club Championship

The Inaugural Country Club Tasmania Social Club Championship was held at Gisborne Golf Club, Sunday 9th December, 2007. Perfect weather, an immaculately presented course, fantastic trophies and 20 Social Golf Clubs from across Melbourne, provided the ideal combination for this exciting new event.
The 2007 Country Club Tasmania Social Club Championship was won by Austral-Asian Golf Club. The winning team took home the magnificent perpetual trophy and a 2 night deluxe accommodation package at Country Club Tasmania, including return airfares to Launceston. Finishing in second position was Tee Breakers. Other prizes included vouchers to leading Victorian golf courses and golf bags to name a few.
