VGA Pennant - Season: 2007
Gisborne Golf Club Senior and Colt teams were competitive throughout the 2007 season. Although our teams did not make the finals, both teams were successful in maintaining their positions in their respective divisions (Seniors Division 2, Colts Division 3) for the 2008 season. Congratulations to the team managers, players and caddies.
VGA Pennant - Season: 2006
Gisborne Golf Club VGA Colts Pennant team won the Division 4 final, played at Victoria Golf Club on 28th May, 2006. The team defeated The Heritage 4/1 to win its third consecutive flag. The Colts will move up to Division 3 in 2007. The Senior Pennant team also had a successful season. Although defeated in the final by Woodlands 5/2, the team will move up to Division 2 for the 2007 season.
VGA Pennant - Season: 2005
Gisborne Golf Club won the 2005 Division 4 VGA Pennant Final played at Yarra Yarra Golf Club on 29th May, 2005. Gisborne defeated Melbourne Airport 5/2 in an excellent day of golf.
Gisborne Golf Club VGA Colt’s team was also victorious in Division 5. Played at Heidelberg Golf Club, the Colts defeated Cranbourne 3.5/1.5.
VGA Pennant - Season: 2004
Gisborne Golf Club won the 2004 Division 5 VGA Pennant Final played at Kew Golf Club on 23rd May, 2004. Gisborne defeated Rosanna 5/2 in an enthralling contest where three matches were decided on the final hole.
Gisborne Golf Club Colt’s team was also victorious in Division 6. Played at Green Acres Golf Club, the Colts defeated Goonawarra 3/2.
